I'm Aghustos,
welcome.Squad & milsim content creator
HARDLY WORKING.
I play the games people call boring for hours on end and explain why they aren't. Mostly Squad and other milsim games; a channel focused on teaching — lots of comms, lots of planning, and the occasional dose of chaos.
About me
My name is Erdem; online I go by Aghustos.
I love slow-burning games that demand patience: the kind where, from the outside, "nothing happens", but once you're in, every minute is a calculation. I try to show why the games people think are boring really aren't.
The channel is about teaching. From the outside, milsim games look complex and hard to get into; a good share of my videos exist purely to make that easier — how to play, why it's played that way, and where a newcomer should start.
The channel has never had a sponsor. Apart from the ads YouTube itself runs, nobody touches the content or decides what I talk about — and what keeps the channel going is the people who watch and support it.
What does my slogan mean?
Working hard, hardly working — and I mean both at the same time.
I genuinely work a lot. Recording, editing, audio, planning, re-shoots — there are many times more hours behind a video than what you see. I mean this part literally.
This part has two meanings, and both are true:
- From the outside To people with a regular job, playing games and making content doesn't really count as "work". What I do doesn't look like working.
- From the inside I don't feel like I'm working while I play either. Doing what I love, I lose track of the hours.
What do I make?
This is mostly what you'll find on the channel.
Tutorial content
This is the backbone of the channel: a portion of the videos are made purely to teach. Fundamentals for newcomers, role and class guides, map reading, team communication, and "here's why I did it this way" breakdowns. The goal is to make games that look hard to get into, easy to get into.
